It feels like just yesterday I was photographing Amanda’s Sweet 16 on the beach at the Jersey shore. It was a beautiful affair with hundreds of family and friends. The minute I heard she had gotten engaged, (with an incredible and elaborate proposal in Turkey), I was floored. Indeed 7 years has passed since that event. Time flies. Amanda is owner/dance instructor at DancExtensions in Florham Park. Her talent and grace always amazed me. Her love and devotion to her students is evident during her sessions and the talent is obvious as she keeps winning competition after competition. And now she is all grown up and going to be a bride, (4 days before me, nonetheless) and is more beautiful than she was 8 years ago when I met her. She now has a man to love and be devoted to as well.
I couldn’t wait to meet the man that stole her heart. I heard many great things about Brian from her family. They couldn’t say enough about him. We choose an absolutely stunning September day to hit Seaside Park and the beach to grab some shots. The girl I remember is now a woman and is adored by this sweet man. I love seeing couples excited and so in love and they couldn’t keep their hands off of each other. They splashed in the ocean, giggled and smiled like kids. It was a fun shoot that I hope you enjoy.
